In children's missions discipleship groups, children in grades 1-6 will pray for and learn about missions and missionaries through Bible stories and fun activities.
Use WMU’s curriculum to equip children in grades 1–6 to learn about missions, pray for missions, support missions, do missions, and tell people about Jesus
Resources include:
Missions Journey: Kids for Leaders
Missions Journey: Kids Adventure (for children)
Missions Journey: Kids Leader Kit
And more...
Missions Journey: Kids can be used as a traditional group curriculum or customized to include missions in any children’s ministry programming.
If your church is looking for gender-specific groups for children or co-ed groups for children, Missions Journey: Kids will apply to Royal Ambassadors (RA), Girls in Action (GA), and Children in Action (CA).
Children in Action is a co-ed group designed for boys and girls (grades 1-6) to come to faith in Christ as Savior while making missions an important part of their daily lives.
Girls in Action (GA) is designed with girls’ unique characteristics in mind. GA helps girls (grades 1-6) grow spiritually, recognizing the varying developmental stages of girls in each grade.
Royal Ambassadors (RA) is a missions discipleship group for boys in grades 1–6. RA provides an opportunity for boys to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and relationally with others through missions involvement and character development.
Children's Mission Day
WMU launched Children’s Missions Day in 2008 to move children in grades 1–6 out of their churches and into their communities to do missions. The goal is for children’s groups to create projects that meet needs in their own communities. > Learn More
