Prayer Requests
- Pray for Vanessa's health, strength, wisdom, and discernment.

Pursue 2026 | April 17-18, 2026 | Waco, Texas
At Pursue 2025, your generous donations of hygiene kits and supplies enabled WMU Border Ministries to assemble and distribute over 300 Compassion Bags to families along the Texas/Mexico border.
This year, we will collect similar supplies to help even more families along the border. Please bring the following supplies to Pursue 2026!

Serve Brownsville Mission Trip
August 13-16, 2026 | Brownsville, Texas
Join WMU of Texas as we share Jesus on the Texas Border in Brownsville, Texas.
From August 13-16, 2026, you can bring hope and healing to those in need through a back-to-school drive and block party, benefiting children and families in the Brownsville area.
During this event, WMU of Texas will organize a block party featuring a school supplies drive, as well as crafts and activities for kids.
Volunteers will have an opportunity to share the Gospel with children and adults, as we provide activities and play for children while other events in the area meet additional needs in the community.
We hope to see you as we Serve Brownsville!

Along the Texas/Mexico border, families need various supplies. These include food, sports equipment, medical supplies, baby items, Christmas gifts, bedding, apparel, hygiene kits, and more. Impact Stories
During Spring Break, a group of high school students dedicated their time to serving refugee families along the Texas/Mexico border.
As the high school students engaged with the children, sharing Bible stories, the parents were drawn to join in the activities, creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
One student connected with a mother, sharing how God had been a refuge for her, bringing hope and healing to her family. Amidst the laughter and activities of the children, the mother listened attentively as she heard about God's sacrifice of His only son for the forgiveness of sins.
By the end of the conversation, the mother accepted Christ.
