Because of your faithful giving, the Multicultural Ministry of WMU of Texas is seeing tangible, eternal impact across cultures and generations. We aren’t just sharing a message; we are building a community where everyone has a seat at the table.
Our Daughters of Many Nations initiative has become a powerful movement of encouragement and equipping. This year alone, it impacted more than 100 women leaders and pastors’ wives from diverse cultural backgrounds. These women gathered for fellowship, leadership training, prayer, and spiritual renewal. Many serve faithfully behind the scenes in multicultural churches, often carrying heavy responsibilities. Through this initiative, they found not only training, but also belonging, affirmation, and renewed vision. Your support created a space where diversity was celebrated, unity was strengthened, and leaders were empowered to return to their communities refreshed and equipped to multiply their influence.
Masterpiece has also flourished as a strategic outreach to the next generation. More than 50 young college women from different cultural and religious backgrounds participated in this welcoming event. In partnership with Texas Baptists’ Baptist Student Ministry, these students experienced authentic community, meaningful conversations about faith, and a clear presentation of the Gospel. Many heard biblical truth for the first time in a relational and culturally sensitive environment. Seeds were planted, friendships were formed, and lives were touched.
Behind these signature initiatives, we strengthened our foundation by forming a six-member Multicultural Leadership Development Council, building relationships through more than 150 church visits and consultations, and encouraging Vietnamese, Laotian, African, and Korean WMU fellowships.
