Mary's House
Through a partnership between WMU of Texas and the World Mission Center at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, missionaries returning home from the field now have a place to call home as they rest and recharge.
Mary's House, a gift from WMU of Texas and the Mary Hill Davis Offering® for Texas Missions, is a temporary home featuring two apartments for missionaries serving stateside.
Mary's House offers all the comforts Texas residents enjoy, plus the unique advantage of being located on a seminary campus. Here, students can be encouraged and mentored by the missionaries living alongside them.
This environment fosters community, fellowship, discipleship, and support, which will not only transform the lives of the missionaries preparing to return to the foreign field but will also positively influence the journeys of the seminary students they interact with.

As a missionary-in-residence, Mary's House allows us to welcome students in for coffee and meals to really connect with them.
In Belgium, apartment living is quite cramped. There are not a lot of parks, and it rains a lot there, so our kids love playing outside. It’s been absolutely fantastic for our kids to be able to play in the grass, in the sprinkler, and have a space for their toys; they’ve both really had a great year."
