Women on Mission

Women on Mission, is a missions discipleship group designed to equip women over 18 years old. Members live out missions through missions projects, ministries, prayer, giving, and Bible study.

Through Women on Mission, members seek to live out missions through missions projects, ministries, prayer, giving, and Bible study. Resources Include: 

Missions Mosaic
[Purchase one copy for each participant]

Each issue of Missions Mosaic equips you with a Bible study, prayer starter, and ideas for ministry and evangelism. Additionally, each issue includes Prayer Patterns—daily devotions followed by a listing of missionaries each month.

Women on Mission Leader Guide

An engaging planning guide in a user-friendly format to help leaders teach missions. Each quarterly issue includes leader tips, promotional flyers, and meeting plans for Missions Mosaic articles.

Missions Planning Guide

The Missions for Life Planning Guide provides 12 months of missions discipleship for adult small groups, family groups, and individuals.

How to Start A Group

  • Begin With Prayer
    Involve church leadership in seeking direction for starting a new group.

  • Download the Starter Kit
    Download a sample of the Missions Mosaic curriculum. 

  • Request a Consultation
    Contact the WMU of Texas Adult Strategist for additional resources and training.

  • Determine The Focus
    Women on Mission groups often focus their involvement around a feature in Missions Mosaic, such as the missionary spotlight or Bible study. Groups may also meet around a common interest.

  • Select Leaders
    Identify a group leader and others willing to lead. Provide leadership development through WMU of Texas's leadership training events.

  • Order Materials
    Use WMU resources to help plan missions involvement. The Women on Mission Leader Guide is an excellent resource to help you get started.

  • Register WMU Group
    Register your new group with the state office to receive updates.

  • Promote
    Invite all women to attend by utilizing personal contacts, email, social media, and other communication channels within your church.
